On June 5th OAZA is joining the initiative of the European Youth Outdoor Network. Celebrating the World Environment Day in the elementary school Marija Jurić Zagorka in Vrbovac on June 5, 2024 they will organize a garden festival for students, teachers, parents, and neighbors.
The goal of the garden festival is to encourage people to go back to nature, cooperate, and think creatively. There will be various workshops on sustainable development, environmental protection, volunteering, and outdoor learning. Other NGOs, representatives of the city, and decision-makers will participate in the garden festival.
The Sustainable Alternative Community /OAZA/ has existed in Zagreb since January 2013. Its goal is to organize various programs for young people during which they can, in a pleasant and motivating atmosphere, develop their potential and become responsible and exemplary bearers of sustainable social change.The organization creates models of a sustainable society. It encourages the holistic development of young people as builders of the future.
