We send out 2024 with lots to be thankful for and a lot to bring for 2025.
2024 was the first year of the Outdoor Portal. We created an online space for resources where anyone interested can find plenty of ideas for bringing young people back to nature – https://outdoorportaleu.wordpress.com/digital-spaces/ . It has never been so easy to connect with people and organizations for discussions of best practices and outdoor activities – https://outdoorportaleu.wordpress.com/connect/ .
In 2025 we are looking forward to two major events. On the 20th of March we will welcome spring with the international online conference – Environmentally Sustainable Outdoor Activities for Youth – https://outdoorportaleu.wordpress.com/event/international-online-conference-environmentally-sustainable-outdoor-activities-for-the-youth/ With more than 200 participants from Europe and beyond the conference will be a chance to learn about innovative outdoor practices and share experiences.
In the end of June the first in Europe International Youth Outdoor Festival will take place in different locations acccross Bulgaria. Partcipants from Belgium, Italy, Estonia, Lithuania, and Croatia are gathering with local Bulgarian young people to experience innovative sustainable outdoor activities.

The year will finish with fun project events in Bulgaria, Belgium, Italy, Estonia, Lithuania, and Croatia to multiply the disseminate the all useful results YGBN partners will have created.
