On 20th of March the Lithuanian Sea Museum hosted the international online conference – Environmentally Sustainable Outdoor Activities for Youth. Virtually and in groups the conference gathered more than 500 participants from 48 countries all over the world. The profile of participants was diverse bringing together people of different age and interest. The majority were young people from different social groups, such as young people with special needs, and youth workers. There were social workers, students and professionals active in the environmental field, official representatives, such as member of the Regional Official Representative & EU Relations Coordinator, and many others.
During the conference the three documentaries produced during the YGBN project were presented. Participants learned about outdoor activities through an online game for all. Here are the topics that were discussed:

After the conference many participants shared very positive feedback about the content of the topics and the overall experience they had. Acknowledgement of their participation with a certificate and a digital ‘’Back to Nature’’ badge was another advantage for all that took part in the event. Prof. dr. Brigita Kreivinienė and her team from the Lithuanian Sea Museum visited participants that entered the conference as a group in person and gave each of them a certificate for participation.

The next event of the YGBN project and its partners is the first European Youth Outdoor Festival ‘’Back to Nature’’ that will take place in the last week of June 2025 in Bulgaria.
