General objective
The objective of the project ‘’Youth Going Back to Nature – Engage, Connect, Empower’’ is to enhance practicing environmentally sustainable outdoor activities /ESOA/, make them innovative and accessible to the young people across the 6 partnering countries –Bulgaria, Belgium, Lithuania, Italy, Estonia, Croatia.
Specific objectives
The objective is divided in three subcategories, inspired by the 11 European Youth Goals, aiming to engage, connect and empower the target groups to embrace ESOA.
1. Engage
The first is to create innovative ways to Engage the most vulnerable young people in ESOA. That effort will result in case studies from carrying out 3 Learning exchange events (LEE), producing 3 short video documentaries of the LEEs, and 3 toolkits on innovative practices of ESOA.
2. Connect
The second is to Connect the youth community for better understanding and enhancement of ESOA . The result will be the creation of the European Youth Outdoor Portal/YOP/ and the European Youth Outdoor Network/EYON/.
3. Empower
The third is to Empower YPFO and the youth community to apply ESOA. The result thereto will be, first, reaching 240 participants from the 6 partnering countries in discussing ESOA and project outputs. Second, educating 30 youth workers from 6 countries about the innovative toolkits and applying them in practice with 80 locals from the Bulgarian youth community. Thirdly, have 210 people from the youth community and wider audience across the partner countries familiar with the project results. That will be done by respectively organizing 2 large scale events – Online European Youth Outdoor Conference and European Youth Outdoor Festival, as well as organizing interactive dissemination events in all 6 partnering countries.
